NFL Legend Honoured
Opus was in America last month to present record-breaking New England Patriots head coach Bill Belicheck with a personalised copy of the stunning XL Super Bowl MVP Opus.
In conjunction with Marquise Jets, Kraken CEO Karl Fowler handed over the Opus one of an exclusive series of 400 copies signed by all 34 living Most Valuable Players – at the famous Four Seasons Hotel in Boston to honour Belicheck’s achievements in American football.
The 55-year-old became an NFL legend in 2004 when he guided the Patriots to their third Super Bowl triumph in just four years the first coach to achieve this unique feat. This weekend he will be taking the Patriots to yet another Super Bowl. In a bid to win his fourth Lombardi Trophy, as Head Coach, Belicheck has broken yet another record by leading his team to Super Bowl XLII on the back of an undefeated season. After the presentation the assembled guests hung on his every word during his entertaining QandA session.
“It was a fantastic evening,” said Fowler. “Bill is a living legend and to have the opportunity to present him with his very own copy of the MVP Opus was a real honour.
“He loved the Opus and the guests relished the chance to pick his brains. What he has achieved in American football may never be emulated, never mind surpassed, and I can’t think of anyone more fitting to own a copy of the MVP Opus.”
Written by a selection of the finest NFL writers in the USA and featuring over 1,400 photographs and illustrations, the Opus is the definitive history of American Football’s greatest showpiece event and a must have for all gridiron devotees.
