The Bentley Mulliner Edition embraces traditions and bespoke elements to make your Opus as personal and unique as you could imagine. It has truly been created with the Bentley aficionado in mind, offering a choice of 17 Bentley leather colours to choose your Opus cover which is housed in a luxurious hand-made clamshell presentation case. The edition comes with many special elements which are detailed below including the Opus ‘Tailor Made’ service that allows you the chance to have your very own pages at the front of your copy featuring your name and photos – making it a unique copy.
Designed, printed and hand-bound in England and limited to just 100 copies worldwide, the Mulliner Edition is the exceptional celebration of the Bentley centenary.
Mulliner Signature Page
Each copy of the Mulliner Edition will be individually numbered and personally signed by Adrian Hallmark, Bentley Motors Chairman and CEO.
Hand-Bound in Bentley Leather
Bentley leather hides are sourced from Northen Europe, where the temperate climate and lack of barbed wire fencing means the hides are mostly free from the imperfections caused by scratches and biting insects. With a choice of 17 official Bentley hide colours to cover their Bentley Centenary Opus – Mulliner Edition.
Personalised Tailor Made
The ‘Tailor Made’ service is like no other in the world of publishing. The first page of your Tailor Made pages can be adorned with the owner’s name, family name and/or personal inscription.
Choose your favourite personal photos, whatever you wish, be it a Le Mans visit, a race day experience or simply you and your loved ones enjoying your Bentley. Send them to the Opus design team who will design and create your own bespoke pages that will sit at the front of your own edition. Immortalising you and your memories in the Centenary celebration of Bentley Motors.
Adorned with the Authentic Bentley Wings Badge
The cover will be adorned with the official handcrafted Bentley Centenary Wings badge created by Thomas Fattorini Limited. Established in 1827, the family-run company holds a royal warrant for its manufacturing of insignia. These are the very same badges used on every Mulsanne car and will be hand-fixed to the luxurious leather covers of the Opus thus making the Bentley Centenary Opus truly special.
Bentley Centenary Polaroid Collection
Every Mulliner Edition comes with the Bentley Centenary Polaroid Box Set, numbered to match the copy of your Mulliner Edition. The box set showcases ten landmark Bentley cars captured on the giant 20 x 24 Polaroid camera to create the most unique Bentley photographic portrait collection.
Bentley Cars Watercolours Box Set
The Bentley Cars Watercolours Box Set celebrates one hundred years of Bentley Motors. This specially commissioned box set houses 56 individual watercolour art prints, printed on 300 gsm silk paper. The metal plaque on the cloth covered clamshell case can be personalised with the owner’s name and will be numbered the same as your Mulliner Edition.
Piece of Bentley Racing History
A piece of competition Michelin rubber will be grafted from the ‘front left’ race used tyre taken from the 24 Hour Le Mans winning Speed 8 (2003). This historic element will be inlaid into the inside cover of the Mulliner clamshell presentation case. The chance to feel and smell a piece of Bentley racing history.
VIP Crewe Factory Tour
All Mulliner Edition owners plus a guest will be invited to a VIP Factory Tour at Crewe, England. The opportunity to meet and have lunch with the award winning Bentley Motors Design Team will allow you to ask all those questions as to why and how?
Three Years Subscription to the Bentley Drivers Club
Three years membership to the BDC will allow the Mulliner Edition owner to enjoy all member events, competitions, club forums, publications, insurance deals, valuations and access to the spares scheme. Immerse yourself in the history of the marque or discover more about the history of your own car with the history and heritage information afforded to you and get to meet other members.
Special Evening with Derek Bell
An intimate gathering with racing legend and five time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Derek Bell, will be held in London during the 2019 centenary year. Every Mulliner Edition owner plus their guest will be in for a treat as Derek Bell is widely regarded as one of the most charismatic personalities on the racing circuit who has stories to share from over the decades, from Steve McQueen to Bernie Ecclestone.
1 Night Stay at Hotel Café Royal in London
All Mulliner Edition owners will be allocated a luxury One night stay at the five star Hotel Café Royal, London, as part of their factory visit to Bentley headquarters in Crewe.
‘Design Art Print’ Direct From The Bentley Design Team
The Bentley Design Team at Crewe will create a stunning art print exclusively for the Bentley Centenary Opus Mulliner Edition.
