We had been in detailed discussions with Michael over collaborating on his Opus, which would have been the definitive publication on his life and career, shortly before the tragic, untimely death of the man whom Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown, said: “I feel the ‘King of Pop’ is not big enough for him. I think he is simply the greatest entertainer that ever lived”.

Charity auction
The first five editions of the Official Michael Jackson Opus will be set aside and offered for auction. These copies will include a unique page that will include the signatures from a number of artists in the music world. The proceeds raised from the auctioned Opuses will be donated to five charities that Michael supported throughout his life.
