The Official Celtic Opus at the Mitchell Library

On Thursday, 21 January, 2011, The Official Celtic Opus made its way to the largest reference library in Europe, The Mitchell Library in Glasgow and was unveiled at a special reception evening hosted by The Official Celtic Opus photo director Graeme Murdoch.

A selection of exclusive and rarely seen content, including many of the images unearthed from Celtic’s archives which were captured exclusively for the Opus, came alive to form a unique exhibition at the library, allowing the public to observe the fascinating history of one of the world’s iconic football clubs.

Special guest and long-time Celtic fan, Paolo Nutini made a special appearance at the evening and was personally thrilled to be part of such an iconic publication which celebrates all things Celtic.
